During my Christmas stay, I had an incredible experience at this hostel. the cleanliness of the property was outstanding. The owners made sure to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the day. the location of the hostel was perfect. It was situated close to the walking street, allowing me to easily explore the local area and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. Lastly, one major advantage was the homely feel of the hostel. The friendly owners were always available to assist with any queries and even joined guests on sightseeing trips. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The limited air conditioning hours. The A/C was only available from 9 pm to 11 am in order to conserve power.

I had an incredible experience staying at this hostel. Baan Mai Sak has a prime location in the central part of town, just a short 5-minute walk from the bus station and walking streets. The hosts were extremely helpful and provided us with plenty of advice and information whenever we asked. The hostel itself was clean, quiet, and had a relaxed atmosphere. It was so convenient to have markets, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. They even expanded the restroom facilities to accommodate more guests. I will definitely be returning for another stay at this lovely place.
Nothing at all. 🙌

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed during my stay. The property had a cozy and comfortable feel, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. the location was excellent, just a short walk from the main street and conveniently located near a fantastic restaurant.
There was only one set of showers and toilets, which was a bit inconvenient at times. , the lack of air conditioning in the rooms made it a bit uncomfortable during the hotter days, but the fans provided were enough to manage.

Having a kitchen in the hotel was a great benefit, allowing me to make my meals whenever I wanted. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or needs.
The bathrooms and the kitchen showed signs of age and could use some updating. the lack of curtains on the beds was a small inconvenience.

The dorm room was spacious and well-designed, offering a comfortable and homely atmosphere. I especially appreciated the fact that they provided a hairdryer, a rare find in most hostels. The owner and his girlfriend were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome. The location was also perfect, just a short walk from the walking street. The hostel had a beautiful outdoor space with hammocks and cushions, creating the perfect spot to relax and unwind. this was by far the best hostel I've stayed at during my Southeast Asia trip, and it's offered at such an affordable price. I can't recommend it enough.
Although the bed and pillow were slightly firm, it's a common feature in most places across Thailand. if you're looking for a highly social atmosphere to meet new people, this hostel may not be the best choice as the majority of guests are in their thirties.
